Friendship Pins
This simple craft was something I was into as a young teen. These were a big thing back in the 80's. They were simple enough to make and there were so many varieties you could create. Whether you used store bought beads, broken necklaces, found objects or a combination of all, they were fun to create and give to friends. We wore them on our sneaker and our roller skates ( of course ! ) It looks like they are making a comeback now. I see them being sold online, but they were original meant to be gifted or even traded. I guess everything changes a bit with time and I'm glad to see people are enjoying them again. I wanted to post a picture here but I don't have any photos of my own. I have not made any in a long time. If you make these pins, feel free to share your pics here :) This was part of the Retro Week activities going on.
